IKOS Aria - Kos

Ikos Aria was the fourth addition to the prestigious Ikos Resorts group. The resort occupies 47 acres, including an 850-metre swathe of exclusive beachfront, and the fabulous all-inclusive offering allows guests to indulge in Michelin-starred menus, branded spirits and luxurious facilities. The expansive resort has the feel of an open-air museum with stunning landscapes and views of the ancient ruins contrasting with the dazzling blues of the Aegean Sea.

Accommodation here is extremely spacious and contemporary in design, with light, airy interiors and a choice of balconies, private gardens or pools. The 374 rooms and suites include air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, a DVD/CD player, flat screen TV, mini bar, bathrobes and slippers, and complimentary WiFi. The One Bedroom Suite Private Garden is ideal for families, as it can accommodate two adults and three children, and features a separate bedroom, lounge, furnished private garden and sea views. The Deluxe Collection offers an even greater level of luxury in a privileged location. Guests of this section of the resort have access to upgraded amenities and dining packages, their own extensive private pool and children’s pool, and a beach area reserved exclusively for their use.

Cuisine is taken seriously at Ikos Aria - there are eight restaurants, including seven á la carte one of which operating on a 24 hour basis, encompassing a variety of cuisines, from traditional Greek to flavours of the Orient. Menus have been produced by Michelin-star chefs, and you can choose from a collection of 300 Greek and international wines. Nine bars ensure plenty of choice – enjoy branded spirits, 300 local and international wines, and cocktails prepared by expert mixologists. The innovative dine-out programme is part of the all-inclusive offering, meaning you don’t have to miss out on the best of local restaurants, either.

All Inclusive

There’s an 850-metre exclusive beach complete with complimentary sunbeds, umbrellas, towels, food and beverage service, and 30 minutes of complimentary beach childcare for ages 4+. There are also five heated swimming pools, four floodlit tennis courts, a biking centre and giant chess. Complimentary watersports include canoeing, windsurfing (once per stay for 1hr/ license required) and pedaloes, while catamarans, scuba diving, windsurfing and waterskiing are available at an extra charge. The Ikos Spa features a pool, treatment rooms including a couple’s suite, a steam room and sauna, fitness studio with state-of-the-art equipment and various classes including pilates and yoga, and hair* and nail salons*.
